UFCW 1400 hosts 19th Annual Women’s Conference

Saskatoon, Sask. – March 11, 2025 – UFCW Local 1400 hosted its 19th Annual Women’s Conference on March 7-8, 2025, bringing together dozens of UFCW activists from across Saskatchewan, representing UFCW Local 1400, UFCW Local 248P, and UFCW Local 649. The annual conference provides a platform to discuss issues, share experiences, and develop skills for personal and professional empowerment.

Saskatoon – November 6, 2024 – UFCW 1400 mourns the tragic loss of a worker who died in a preventable workplace incident at Heritage Inn, Saskatoon: the union calls Heritage Inn to take action and accountability for this loss and offer appropriate support to the family. UFCW 1400 stands with the family in this time of sorrow.

It’s a day to acknowledge the sacrifices made by workers and a reminder of the ongoing need to address workplace hazards.
